Meshary Al-Ayed has been the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of TAQA Geothermal Energy Company since March 2023, leading Saudi Arabia’s geothermal joint venture between TAQA and Reykjavik Geothermal. He brings over two decades of international experience across oil & gas and renewable energy, with deep expertise in operations, organizational transformation, QHSSE, and large-scale project execution. Meshary previously held senior leadership roles at TAQA and Schlumberger, managing complex operations across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and is a graduate of the MISK 2030 Leaders program.
