Hussain Al Naamani is a passionate HSSE professional dedicated to creating workplaces where people feel protected, empowered, and supported to perform at their best. Over the years, he has progressed from hands-on field engagement into a leadership role, where he plays a key part in shaping safety culture, strengthening assurance systems, and enhancing contractor performance across complex operations at Oman LNG.

As a Lead HSSE Advisor, Hussain focuses on translating HSSE principles into practical, high-impact outcomes. His contributions have supported the achievement of over 33 million safe man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI), alongside a significant reduction in Total Recordable Cases (TRC) through stronger controls, improved reporting quality, and more proactive workforce engagement.

A key milestone in his leadership journey has been championing the shift from reliance on lagging indicators to a stronger focus on leading indicators. This transition has enabled earlier intervention, improved risk prediction, and positioned the organization to stay ahead of potential safety challenges. His approach continues to strengthen leadership decision-making while fostering a more proactive, preventative, and future-focused HSSE culture.
